Lets Get Green

Now is a good time to put in your new grass! Both April and September will yield good establishment and growth.

Grass is surprisingly easy to get going as it requires little soil coverage to germinate. Not all seed has to be covered to get good growth making it easy to reseed patches or shallow seedbeds. For best results just sprinkling grass seed onto a fine seedbed and rake into the surface 2-3 cm, and either compacting straight away or waiting for germination. Watering is most essential to get the grass to germinate however in dry conditions some may be required after the initial stages of growth.
